Fall

Psalm 90:10

~ ~ ~

paper leaves pirouette to the ground
in a brazen crimson cacophony of color
like prima ballerinas

turning

               twirling

fluttering

                      falling.....

their grande and golden finale

And coming to rest
to curtain's close
they lay their bodies down
a prismatic pall blanketing the earth
awaiting burial,
funereal rest

finally

               Finally

finally

    Rest.

Beautiful, H. You're a virtuoso...even the composition of the words on the page is beautiful.

Thanks for the gift of your words and visual.

This beauty
you've created
danced all over my heart
....yes, I'm pretty sure
there was even a pirouette!
THANK you for sharing!

I have told you this before, but this is utterly beautiful. I came by to check in and see how you are doing, and found this loveliness all over again. I hope you are well, my friend. And blessed.
