Seasons change,
inevitably
imminently,
They change
Suddenly, everything and nothing is different
But there has been a change
And time will tell more stories
The plot will thicken
And hopefully richen
into more than just Deja vu
of days gone by...
The self-same death and dawning
The crux of old and new
The bated breath in between...
it begins...

Oh, wonderful suddenlies!
I love the feel of this
~the pause between inhale
and exhale
~the suspendedness
of waiting,
waiting,
and then at last
"it begins"
This was like balm
to my sore soul.
Thank you:)

"The self-same death and dawning..."
Your words bring such new beauty and revelation to Scripture!
And YES that's the Dewey's I was talking about!!! You won't by chance be coming to Greenville, SC on your journey will you? :)
For me this provides a very visual representation of the change of seasons, the bittersweet quality of this time, and even more so today for me with the death of a dear, influential friend this week, so near the anniversary of another such friend's death ~ all at the beginning of Autumn, which used to be my favorite season, but is now met with reservation and so often sadness.
