And Drowned

The waters overflow me

As I sink

Incredulous eyes

Stare up at the surface

Sickly light seeping through

A fool watching for Phantoms

Lazerus yet hopeful he hasn't been lost

Straining, Searching

Somewhere Still Believing

Even

As her last breath

Departs
