"Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth,
for his love is better than wine."
-Song of Solomon 1:2

without a word, through silence shared
through faraway and forever
my heart rises to meet Yours
and I am Home

baring whimsy and wishes
buds waiting to blossom
dreams defying the passage of time
I lay myself open to quintessence of light
finding First Love's fulfillment
sipping Solomon's wine...

...sacred simplicity
secret things shown
in solitude's bounty
my cup overflows...

"I am my Beloved's and my Beloved is mine"
-Song of Solomon 6:3

  1. Beautiful. ♥ Simple and no further words necessary, much like prayer ~

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
    Romans 8:26 (NIV)

  2. Oh, I'm simply drawn to the Father's heart reading this post...smelling freshly baked bread wafting through the open window. Now I'm hungry for more of His fascinating presence. Thanks for stirring the fragrance that draws me to Him. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

  3. Thanks, Linda.....yeah, it's a sweet place, prayer....

    Peaceful weekend over there, Girlfriend...

  4. What sweet feedback, Jennifer....and love how you put that.....actually loving how you put most things.....looking very much forward to your next post....

    sweetest weekend over there...
