Psalm 90:10
~ ~ ~
paper leaves pirouette to the ground
in a brazen crimson cacophony of color
like prima ballerinas
turning
turning
               twirling
fluttering
                      falling.....
their grande and golden finale
And coming to rest
to curtain's close
they lay their bodies down
a prismatic pall blanketing the earth
awaiting burial,
funereal rest
finally
               Finally
finally
finally
    Rest.
